Life is confusing as hell. Half the time you're happy, half the time you're sad, and sometimes you manage to be both all at once. When a friend hurts you, your first reaction is rarely tears; it's anger. Most friendships end over the stupidest shit. Have you ever noticed that? Friendships rarely end because you grow apart, or the other person changed. No. They end because of suspicion, or lies. Friends you have now might not mean crap to you tomorrow. Friends you have right this second might be faker than plastic, and you are rudely awakened to this fact when they shatter your soul. People come into your life and fuck you over or help you out, then disappear, as if they were never even there in the first place. People you love turn out to be the people you never should have looked twice at. Death comes too quickly, hurting the people that least deserve the hurt. Pain is more a part of life than anything else, and half the time... you don't even know why you keep going. But I guess what we all have to remember is that at the end of the day, we are not alone. Some friends will disappear, some will stab you in the heart and shatter your entire being, hurting you beyond anything describable. Some will leave you, some will kill you, some will deceive you. But some will stay. Some will love you with every beat of their heart, smart or stupid. Some will always have your back, even if you don’t ask them. Life simply is confusion. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift, and it is today we must live.
